reflection of light

Regular Glass: The cheapest and most common form of frame glazing, regular glass protects your art piece from dust and scratches only. This glazing is susceptible to breakage and does not protect your artwork from harmful UV rays or contain any anti-glare properties. This glazing option is only available for Mini and Small prints. Acrylic Glazing: Resistant to breakage, acrylic glazing is popular for its light weight and easy maintenance. This type of glazing provides superior clarity, along with physical protection from dust and scratches. (more)

Anti-glare Acrylic: Anti-glare glazing enhances the beauty of the artwork with a matte-like finish that scatters light to prevent any unwanted glare or reflection. It is the best glazing option available in the market. Along with its nearly invisible finish, it also protects the artwork from harmful UV rays so your framed pieces do not fade or deteriorate over time. (more)

About this artwork

from the series “China’s drops”, oil and pencil on paper. Original size: 24 x 24 cm, 2004. If you try to drip a drop of ink on a wet surface you can observe that it doesn’t spread evenly, diluting in water, but expands in a sudden and irregular way, causing streaks and branches that are oriented on the surface on the basis of the obstacles or impurities encountered, perhaps invisible. This generates a rich arabesque, a pure decoration that can vary from time to time, and that expands until it fills the entire surface. My original artworks are also available for sale. Please contact me if you are interested in more information about my work, the sales prices of individual works, the costs of the expedition or the availability for work on graphics (cortesefederico@gmail.com).
