Xin in Michelangelo mood

Regular Glass: The cheapest and most common form of frame glazing, regular glass protects your art piece from dust and scratches only. This glazing is susceptible to breakage and does not protect your artwork from harmful UV rays or contain any anti-glare properties. This glazing option is only available for Mini and Small prints. Acrylic Glazing: Resistant to breakage, acrylic glazing is popular for its light weight and easy maintenance. This type of glazing provides superior clarity, along with physical protection from dust and scratches. (more)

Anti-glare Acrylic: Anti-glare glazing enhances the beauty of the artwork with a matte-like finish that scatters light to prevent any unwanted glare or reflection. It is the best glazing option available in the market. Along with its nearly invisible finish, it also protects the artwork from harmful UV rays so your framed pieces do not fade or deteriorate over time. (more)

About this artwork

from the series “Sistine mood”, oil on paper, original size: 42 x 29.7 cm. This series of drawings was inspired by Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel. Some portraits are directly based on the figures painted on the vault. Then I painted other faces trying to reproduce that style, and the characteristics that in my opinion distinguish it: the intense expression of the faces, the light and half transparent colors as if the aim was to let emerge the underlying drawing, the profile marked by a darker line, the background of a mostly uniform sky. In most of my paintings, both on paper or on canvas, usually my work proceeds with the sedimentation of several layers of pencil drawing or chiaroscuro and oil colors. Often the pencil drawing is repeated over the paint and then again another layer of oil color partially covers it. My original artworks are also available for sale. Please contact me if you are interested in more information about my work, the sales prices of individual works, the costs of the expedition or the availability for work on graphics.
