TILL DEATH DO US PART?

About this artwork

There is nothing quite as pure as the platonic love of companions; An implicit solidarity of two souls in accord. But when mortality steals one of them for time perpetual, There is a part of the other that is inexplicably lost. While your body lays in decay, at nature’s mercy Know that a part of me lies with you, inseparable yet alive. As in my dreams you pay those pleasant visits to me I long for nothing more than the feeling of you at my side. Lay peaceful my friend; my purpose for thanksgiving. Bereavement has made known, you hold a slice of my heart. Our inextinguishable rapport leaves me wondering, Is it true when they say, “Till death do us part”?
